This historic tourist train runs adjacent to my property and frequently stops outside my house. People are always taking vids and such as they pass by... on these occasions, it was my turn. :) One of these days, I'll fly over the train with my paramotor for some air-to-train footage. SFS still runs freight between Lamy and Santa Fe. It is a fun and beautiful ride throughout. The views are breathtaking, especially the sunsets... which is why it stops in my area! :) There is also a walking/biking trail next to the tracks... very interesting to see it pass so close. It runs pretty much daily with two runs per day on weekends depending on the season.

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Dr. Andrew Lovato explores Hispanic and New Mexican cultures of yesterday and today through his research and writings. In his home town of Santa Fe, the interplay of local culture and commercially-driven influences has created the adobe Disneyland that many tourists have come to love. But where does authentic culture stop and the myth of commercial culture begin? Andrew Lovato is an Associate Professor of Speech Communication at Santa Fe Community College. He received his Ph.D. in Communication with an emphasis in Intercultural Communication from the University of New Mexico in 2000. Lovato was selected as a Fulbright Scholar in 2008. Lovato is the author of "Santa Fe Hispanic Culture: Preserving Identity in a Tourist Town" and “The Year Zozobra Escaped: Featuring Zozobra’s Great Escape". His latest project is a serialized version and podcast of his latest book, "Elvis Romero and the Cosmic White Corvette". Lovato is a contributing author for four other books related to New Mexico history and culture. He has also written numerous articles and given lectures related to New Mexico history and culture for various groups and organizations. About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

This is located at guintigbasan, sante fe, romblon philippines, its one of the famous mysterious throughout tablas island and in the entire romblon islands. Elderly people witness the beauty of the mountain, at thesame time its unatural force as most of them saw the hill to be a city like place with big mansions, some people just woke up, up the big tress beyond this hills some say theyve been to manila or some other places they aboard a big ship and slept at a big house, unseen people are guarding this hills for long long time as its been threaten many times by a mining and some other companies as it has gold, chalk granites, petroleum gas pure sp4ing water etch but they end up being mesirable most of them died, thats why till now it preserves itself as posible, So only locals can enjoy its majestic nature. Trespasers from other places will expect to have thier own rewards if they wanders beyond this hills mostly if they took some5hing in this place and bring it home or destroy something or being noisy and even pointing your finger to wildlife in 5his area if you kill one of them you'll be dead too. But in summary this is a beautiful place to visit only if you are good enough
